Located in the heart of Clifton, Alliance Française de Karachi (AFK) is the largest French cultural center in Pakistan. For over 70 years, we have served as a premier hub for language learning, artistic expression, and international exchange.

What We Do

Alliance Française de Karachi is a Pakistani non-profit organization affiliated with La Fondation Alliance Française in Paris. Our mission is to promote the French language and celebrate the rich diversity of Francophone cultures.

  • Language Excellence: We offer French courses for all levels, from beginners to advanced, including specialized workshops and certifications.

  • Cultural Hub: Enjoy our year-round program of concerts, plays, art exhibitions, and conferences featuring both Pakistani and French personalities.

The Global Alliance Française Network

Founded in Paris in 1883 by luminaries such as Louis Pasteur and Jules Verne, the Alliance Française has grown into a unique global network. Today, the Fondation oversees more than 800 centers across 132 countries.
