Alliance française de Karachi invites you to an extraordinary art exhibition curated by Khusro & Saira Subzwari.
Art is an expression of movement, be it the swirl of a dervish, the gentle drift of a boat, or the unbridled gallop of a horse. Elements in Motion brings together five distinct yet deeply connected artistic visions, each portraying the rhythm of life through unique visual languages.
Khusro Subzwari’s whirling dervishes capture the spiritual ecstasy of movement, echoing the poetry of Rumi and the meditative trance of Sufism. Arif Ansari’s waterlilies, tranquil yet dynamic, embody the fluidity of nature, mirroring the dance of light upon water. SM Naqvi’s vibrant abstract compositions pulse with energy, their bold strokes translating emotion into color. Shan Amrohvi’s horses, painted with strength and intensity, depict raw power and grace, charging forward with a sense of purpose. Meanwhile, Abdul Jabbar’s boats and landscapes serve as serene counterpoints, evoking journeys across shifting waters and vast horizons.
Together, these artists weave a tapestry of movement—spiritual, natural, and emotional. Whether through the transcendence of a whirling dervish, the serenity of floating lilies, the freedom of galloping horses, the kinetic energy of abstraction, or the quiet drift of a boat, Elements in Motion invites the viewer to embrace the interconnected flow of life.
