learn grace and rigor with ballet lessons

Ballet is a highly technical dance which first originated in the Italian Renaissance and later developed into a concert dance form in France and Russia. Benefits of ballet: Ballet is an incredibly enriching and uplifting pursuit, both for children and adults. It improves a student’s posture, co-ordination, and flexibility and strength. Equally important are the emotional and psychological benefits: increased confidence, focus, critical thinking skills, bonding with friends and cultural knowledge. Regular ballet lessons promote a healthy lifestyle for the student and their family.

About the instructor: Gabrielle Brinsmead is the owner and director of Karachi Ballet. She studied ballet at the Sydney Dance Company. Her first teacher was the former soloist at the Swedish National Ballet. Gabrielle has many years of experience teaching ballet to children and adults, and regularly travels to Australia and Sri Lanka to update her dancing and teaching skills.
